Benefits of Grits:

  • Wide Range of Sizes: Available in section depths from 4″ (101.6mm) up to 12″ (304.8mm) to suit diverse structural needs.
  • Significant Material Savings: Recent studies indicate that switching from hot-rolled channels to cold-formed C or Z section girts can reduce material usage by 33% to 60%.
  • Enhanced Safety: The lightweight nature of cold-formed girts makes them easier and safer to handle on-site.
  • Faster Installation: The consistent, thinner surface of the girt flanges allows for quick and effortless fastening.
  • Zero Manufacturing Waste: Automated production ensures each section is cut to exact lengths, eliminating waste and delivering substantial cost savings.
  • Streamlined Project Schedules: With girts manufactured in advance at dedicated facilities, structural steel fabricators can focus on core fabrication tasks, helping to accelerate your overall project timeline.
